You can register with Contentoo for free any time, with no obligation. Contentoo is the platform that lets you stand out as a content specialist. To make sure we are only working with professionals on our platform, we start with an assessment. When you register, we ask you to upload five samples of your previous work. Our quality control team will evaluate your samples in terms of your writing style and expertise of the subject matter. Once you’ve made the cut, we’ll start the onboarding process. During onboarding, you’ll learn how our platform works and how to submit your invoices. We’ll also answer any questions you might have. And then you’re all ready get started on your first project. The Contentoo platform enables you to collaborate on a regular basis with clients instead of simply working on one-time projects. To be able to do a good job, you need to get to know the client and establish a relationship with them, so the collaboration improves over time. If we match you with a client, you will receive an invitation to join that client’s freelance team. If you agree, you’ll receive information about the client, including their content calendar, details about their target groups, brand guidelines and other details that you’ll need to be able to work successfully with this client. The collaboration starts with a kick-off video call, so you have a chance to meet the client. During the call, the client will discuss the information they’ve provided and give you a clear idea of the kinds of projects you can expect to work on. After that, it’s time to get to work. You have 4 hours to either accept or decline a project. If you do not respond in that time, the platform will automatically reassign the project to another freelancer.

We cannot say in advance exactly how many projects you can expect to be offered. It depends on various factors. Once you’ve registered on our platform and made it through the selection process, we will match you with clients based on your style and areas of expertise. In some cases, it might take some time before the platform can match you with a client. As soon as there’s a project available for you, you’ll automatically receive an email from the platform. In some cases, the Contentoo platform may not find a client that matches with you right away. But this can change any time, because new clients are constantly joining the platform.

Clients on the Contentoo platform pay by the word. This makes it easier for our clients to keep track of their budgets than working with hourly rates. Working more hours is not necessary a guarantee for better quality. We believe in transparency for our clients and for you. That’s why we pay based on word counts. The entire process is automated and you will receive detailed briefings sent directly to your inbox. This saves you time, which you can devote to your writing. It makes the workflow super-efficient, which means better earnings for you.
