Moreover, Contentoo’s turnover more than doubled in 2021 and quadrupled in German. The recent €5 million in growth funding will drive further European expansion and product development

Contentoo, Europe’s leading platform for content creation and localisation, today announced it had been named the 33rd fastest growing technology company in the annual Deloitte Technology Fast 50 competition, with a growth rate of 107%  over the past year. The ranking was announced during a formal Awards Ceremony celebrating the accomplishments of all 50 winners.

Each year, Deloitte ranks the fifty fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands based on their revenue growth over the past four years. This is Contentoo’s first year of eligibility and its first year on the list.

“We are proud to have been included in this year’s ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands,” said Onno Halsema, CEO of Contentoo.

“I would like to thank our trusted partners, customers, freelancers and team members. This award is a clear recognition that Contentoo and our growing community of pre-screened freelance content creators have touched on a real need in today’s fast-paced business world.”

The war for talent is real, and finding the right people is now more difficult than ever. Even freelance talent can be difficult to find. Contentoo’s recent survey among 350 European content marketers showed that 62% of freelancers say they already have enough work, while 58% of business managers report they need additional content.

Contentoo makes it easier to find talent on an as-needed basis, matching marketing teams with its pre-screened global freelance community of more than a thousand content creators, including copywriters, translators, localisation experts, UX writers, designers, content strategists and SEO specialists.

“Contentoo continues to grow, more than doubling our turnover in the past year,” continued Halsema. “Our launch in Germany has been an overwhelming success, with our business there quadrupling over the past year.

The €5 million in new funding announced recently will enable us to both drive further European expansion and invest in product development.”

Contentoo combines artificial intelligence and human decision-making to match freelancers to clients, create better briefings and speed up work processes.

Clients can also have simple texts, like listings for housing websites or product texts, generated by the Contentoo AI. However, the human touch of the best freelancers will always be indispensable for the creation of more complex and creative content.
